The 10 Most Influential Celebrities In Real Estate

Celebrity real estate is fast paced and cut throat. Over the past 10 years, many of our favorite celebrities have scored incredible pads and lost big in attempted investments.
Oprah WinfreyOprah owns a lot of houses. She’s even owned a 2.-bedroom in a small Indiana town. Recently, she bought a high-tech mansion in the box-canyon ski town of Telluride Colorado – complete with a seven-person hot tub and a “wine mine” – for $14 million. She also recently bought an enormous horse farm in Montecito California for $28.8 million.

Inside Selena Gomez's Stunning Calabasas Mansion

Selena Gomez purchased this property in 2014 for $3.69 million. The home is located in the exclusive Mureau Estates gated community. It sits on three rolling acres including a guest house with an additional bedroom and bathroom. The main house includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms bringing the grand total to 7,768 square feet. Gomez is moving due to issues with stalkers - only having owned the home for 1 year.

The exterior of the main home is reminiscent of many sprawling homes in Texas - a combination of neutral stone and stucco. The foyer has a neutral tile floor, which leads to the home’s walk-in wine cellar and a view of the grand staircase.
A dining room down the hall sports rich jewel tones that accentuate the soaring ceilings and a two-story wall of windows. Past the dining room and formal living room is the downstairs informal living area, which has an open concept layout, and a kitchen that boasts double ovens, double dishwashers, a full bar, an oversized island and an elegant breakfast nook. The room is flooded with natural light thanks to windows on every wall.
On the other side of the main floor is the master suite, painted in an amethyst hue and offering enough space for a king-sized bed, a sitting area and plenty of room at the vanity.
Off the bedroom is the luxurious neutral-toned bathroom, featuring a garden tub that sits near the double-sided fireplace, double vanities, an enclosed shower, and a master closet that is larger than life.
The upstairs offers a media center and three bedrooms, one of which Gomez has used as an office.
In true California spirit, the living space continues outdoors, with a courtyard perfect for outdoor dining, a swimming pool, spa, and an outdoor kitchen complete with a brick pizza oven.

Incredible!
