The most expensive listing in New York City is a co-op at 834 Fifth Avenue. Priced at a whopping $120 million this famed Upper East Side apartment building has housed tycoons such as Rupert Murdoch and Elizabeth Arden. It's also the most expensive co-op in the city.
Previously owned by financier John Gutfreund, the apartment is located on the building's seventh and eight floors and has 20 room spread over 12,000 square feet. It has many of the amenities found in luxurious NYC apartments including a wine cellar, a gallery, a "grand marble staircase" an an enormous master suite.
The apartment has been owned by the same family for around 30 years.
